Ellie Goulding has reassured fans about her health after a pyrotechnic appeared to launch toward her face during a recent performance. In a now-deleted Instagram story, the “Lights” singer confirmed she’s fine, stating, “Pyro didn’t hit me directly in the face. Face is intact. Love you, thank you x.” The incident occurred while Goulding was performing her new song “Miracle” at the Victorious Festival in Portsmouth, U.K., where she momentarily expressed alarm before resuming her performance.
“Miracle,” released earlier this year, marks Goulding’s third collaboration with DJ-producer Calvin Harris, following their hit tracks “I Need Your Love” and “Outside.” Goulding recently joined Harris on stage at Coachella for the live premiere of the song. This April, she released her fifth studio album, *Higher Than Heaven,* featuring the lead single “Easy Lover” with Big Sean, and she is set to embark on a European tour in support of the album.
